At night, gaze at the sparkling stars and experience the wonder of one of the darkest skies in the world. Our resort is located in a designated Dark-Sky Preserve and the first out of only 2 areas in Nova Scotia to obtain this certification.
Weddings and Events
Our natural woodland and lake setting can also be a beautiful setting for your private event.
Whether you are planning a wedding, corporate retreat, workshop, family gathering or anniversary, we offer accessible and year-round amenities. Cascades, our function room, is centrally located and has a fully-equipped kitchen and charming dining room that can host groups of up to 30 people.
We also have outdoor space for a marquee event and two locations for outdoor bonfires under a breath-taking starry sky.
Combined with our cozy accommodations, water views, wheelchair-accessible trails and grounds, Mersey River Chalets provides a beautiful backdrop for you and your guests on your special occasion.
